About G.S Chandler Joinery
G.S Chandler Joinery is a joinery business based at Crawfold Business Park, near Petworth, specialising in bespoke furniture, timber windows and made-to-measure doors.
Alongside our joinery work, we operate an online shop offering hardware, furniture fittings, window accessories and wood-care products for home improvement and joinery projects across the UK.
From Joinery to Hardware
Our joinery work involves selecting and using hardware, fittings and finishing products for timber doors, windows and furniture. This practical experience informs the range of products we offer through our online shop.
The shop operates alongside our joinery workshop as part of G.S Chandler Joinery. We sell stocked products separately from our bespoke commissions, giving customers access to selected fittings, accessories and finishing products for their own projects.
Both our joinery services and online shop are operated by G.S Chandler Joinery.
What we make
Our bespoke work is made to measure and confirmed with you before it begins:
- Furniture made to the measurements of your space
- Timber windows made to fit your openings
- Doors made to the size and specification you agree with us
Each commission is set out in a written agreement before work starts, and takes several weeks from the confirmed design.
What we sell
We keep the shop range focused on products that are useful for joinery, fitting and finishing at home. Our current range includes:
- Door and window hardware such as handles, window stays, sash lifts, door knockers and lock cylinders
- Fitted furniture accessories and storage such as drawer runners, shelf brackets, drawer dividers and wardrobe hanging rails
- Window dressing hardware such as curtain poles, tie-back hooks and blind brackets
- Wood care and finishing tools such as beeswax, polishing cloths, sanding blocks and cabinet scrapers
We aim to give straightforward product information so you know what you’re buying before you order.
One business, two parts
G.S Chandler Joinery runs both our bespoke joinery and our online shop. Our workshop experience shapes the products we choose to stock, and the shop lets us make a selection of them available to customers across the UK.
Online orders, customer service, returns and bespoke commissions are all handled by G.S Chandler Joinery.
How we work
We keep the shop range focused rather than trying to sell everything. Each product is presented with clear information about what it is for.
Stocked orders are processed within 1–2 working days and delivered across the UK, with free delivery on orders over £50. If a stocked item isn’t right for you, our 30-day returns policy lets you return it, subject to the terms of our Refund Policy. Because bespoke joinery is made to measure, it generally can’t be returned once production has started, except where it is faulty or doesn’t match the agreed specification.
