Bespoke Joinery in Petworth
G.S Chandler Joinery is a bespoke joinery maker based at Balls Cross, Petworth. We build furniture, windows and doors made to measure, because they should be made to last, not just made to sell. Whether you want a piece of furniture for a particular space, a timber window or a new door, we work from your requirements to a design you’ve confirmed before any work begins.
Our Services
Bespoke Furniture
Furniture made to the measurements of your room rather than the size of a catalogue. Tell us what you need and where it will go, and we’ll design it with you and build it to suit the space.
Timber Windows
Made-to-measure timber windows built to fit your openings. Each one is made to the specification agreed in your commission.
Doors
Made-to-measure doors, built to the size and specification you confirm with us.
Fitted Furniture
Storage and furniture made to fit, so the space is used properly. Our shop also stocks fitted furniture accessories such as drawer runners, shelf brackets and wardrobe hanging rails.
How a Commission Works
- Get in touch. Phone or email us with what you need.
- Agree the design. We confirm the design and specification with you in a written agreement before work begins.
- We make it. Commissions take several weeks from the confirmed design.
- Delivery or installation. This is scheduled separately and confirmed in your commission agreement.
Returns and Cancellations
Bespoke joinery commissions are made to the measurements and specifications agreed with each customer. Once production has started, cancellation or changes may be limited. Any applicable cancellation terms will be explained in the commission agreement before work begins.
This applies to bespoke joinery commissions and is separate from the returns policy for products purchased through our online shop. For online shop orders, please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy.
If bespoke work is faulty or does not match the agreed specification, please contact us so we can discuss the appropriate resolution.
